Whoa! I can’t help but smile as I’m holding my two new books just deliver right now.

I ordered The Hacking Solution by Gerhard since June when it was announced available for pre-order. This book is a must for anyone who wants to learn and implement Linux in real life environment. All my systems in our company are based in this book. This 3rd edition (I read both the previous editions) is simply the best so far and most complete. This is the best Operating System Book I ever read.

Kev’s Build Your Own is not as good as I thought. I’m little bit disappointed and it does not met my expectation as far as depth and learning is concerned. I can easily find same material inside that book in other free resources. Maybe I’ll use this book as bases of my manuals and step by step tutorial I’m creating for my company. Kev’s writing style in discussing things is down to earth and full of humor. I’ll try to adapt similar style.

And you know what? “What?” Our GM is the one who informed me this morning while I’m driving going to the office. He said he’d been calling me since last night but he cannot reach me - my mobile was OFF. As I’m checking right now, our whole server room was down since 10:42pm last night. That means we were down for 9 huge hours! “Wow! So what you’re waiting? Go back to work and start doing now your report to your GM.”
